As The Tablet goes to press, we have learned of the death of Father John Wilkinson, 82, a diocesan senior priest living in retirement in Florida.
His last assignment in the diocese was as a parochial vicar at St. Brigid’s, Bushwick, 2002-04.
The Tablet will print a more detailed obituary in next week’s edition.
