Maire O’Connell, former secretary/administrator aide of St. Francis Xavier School, Park Slope, died Oct. 13. She was 79.
O’Connell served St. Francis Xavier School from 1982 until she retired in 2011.
She will be waked on Sunday, Oct. 16, 7-9 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 17, 2-5 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. at Joseph G. Duffy Funeral Home, 255 Ninth Street in park Slope. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church.
