Al O’Hagan, 81, former national director and New York State president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, died Oct. 26 at his home in New Jersey.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 3 at Resurrection Church, Gerritsen Beach.
Born in Brooklyn, O’Hagan was the director of Great Irish Fair for 23 years and helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine and children, Sheila McGirl and Shaun.
Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Flatbush.
