Father Lawrence O’Leary, 87, a priest of the Rockville Centre Diocese who served as chaplain at Maria Regina Residence, Brentwood, L.I., 1997-2005, died April 28.
He was ordained for the Brooklyn Diocese on June 2, 1956 at St. James Pro- Cathedral, Downtown Brooklyn, and assigned as an assistant at St. Rose of Lima, Massepequa. He was incardinated into the Rockville Centre Diocese when it was established in 1957.
Bishop John Barres was the celebrant of the funeral Mass May 5 at Maria Regina Residence.
