Sister Nancy Goult, O.P., a former teacher in the Diocese of Brooklyn, died on Aug. 29 at the age of 80.
A native of Manhattan, Sister Nancy taught at Fourteen Holy Martyrs parish school in Bushwick from 1958-60. The parish closed in 2008.
Sister Nancy entered the Dominican Sisters of Amityville in 1956 and left in 1965 to take care of her mother. She re-entered the order in 1996.
Her funeral Mass was offered on Sept. 3 at the St. Albert Chapel at Queen of the Rosary Motherhouse in Amityville, L.I. Burial followed in the sisters’ cemetery.
