Deacon Jaime A. Pinzon, of the parish of St. Joan of Arc, Jackson Heights, died of coronavirus on April 6 at his private residence. He was 57.
Deacon Pinzon was an architect by trade. He was born on Aug. 2, 1962, in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Deacon “Jimmy” Pinzon was ordained to the permanent Diaconate on May 25, 2013, by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Elma Pinzon (nee. Nineth) and their two children.
Due to the current restrictions, arrangements and burial were private. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
